Jacob

Jacob Abrams joined ElevateBio in 2020, and as general counsel, he leads the company’s legal function.

Prior to ElevateBio, Jake was the head of global compliance at argenx, a biopharmaceutical company based in Belgium, and he had previously held various global legal roles at Alexion Pharmaceuticals.

Education and Accomplishments

Jake received his BS from the US Naval Academy, MA from the US Naval War College, and he holds a JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He was a flight officer in the US Navy for over 8 years before getting into corporate law.


