Kevin has over 20 years experience developing fit-for-purpose, cell-based assays in all stages of research and development. The primary focus of his research has been in the fields of immunology and hematopoietic stem cell biology, leveraging single cell analytics strategies such as flow cytometry and cell sorting to support a broad range of research goals in these fields. Kevin is responsible for cell based analytical development as well as identifying and implementing next generation analytics to support product characterization and release.
Prior to ElevateBio, Kevin worked in Analytical Development at Unum Therapeutics, where he used flow cytometry to develop assays to inform late stage research, product characterization and product release. Kevin also worked with Merck Research Laboratories developing biomarker discovery assays using both flow cytometry and high throughput/high content imaging.

Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh.
