Stacie has over 12 years of industry experience in molecular & vector biology and protein engineering. She is responsible for building up lentiviral vector (LVV) & adeno-associated virus (AAV) production platforms and next generation plasmid systems.
Prior to ElevateBio, Stacie worked in the Upstream Process Development group at Homology Medicines, where she led a team developing next generation plasmid design for AAV therapeutics and served on several CMC teams. Before Homology Medicines, Stacie was a part of the Vector Biology group at Bluebird Bio, designing and engineering novel CAR T and TCR therapeutics including bb2121. Stacie also worked on a novel rFVIIIFc protein (ELOCATE®) for Hemophilia A while at Biogen.
Education & Accomplishments
Stacie has a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maine and a Master’s in Biotechnology from Harvard University.
